My goal to visit Taktsang Monastery, also known as Taktsang Palphug Monastery, was accomplished. With a lunchbox, a Dalda, and an incense stick, five of us set out for Taktsang on April 29 at 6:30 AM. It was worth visiting. I liked talking to the tourists when we were traveling. All five of the nearby Taktsang monastery's temples have been seen by our group. It was an incredible view. I fervently wished to be reborn in a country like Bhutan, where dharma is completely practiced only by going to the monastery, and to free all sentient beings from this samsara world. 

BRIEF HISTORY.

In accordance with legend, Guru Rinpoche first traveled to the location that would become Taktsang, or the Tiger's Nest, in order to subdue a local demon by the name of Singye Samdrup. Guru Rinpoche was able to vanquish the demon and bind him to serve the Buddhist teachings by appearing as the vengeful and strong Guru Dorje Drolö.As one of the guardian gods, Singye Samdrup is now worshipped in Taktsang.    

Taktshang Monastery is located under Tsento Gewog. One can hike up to the Monastery on foot or ride a horse up.  These are the temples we can visit inside the monastery;
