3. CONSTRUCTIVE TOOL πŸ—

CONSTRUCTIVE TOOL

To manipulate information and build one's own knowledge and understanding, one can employ constructive tools. We can use word processing and spreadsheets as editing tools with the aid of constructive tools. Some of the constructive tools include word, publisher, powerpoint, c-map etc.

In the classroom we have used spreadsheets like converting data into percentage, percentage to graph and interpreted the graph. The work is considerably easier for us because it can save and revise the work at any moment.  Calculations can be done quickly and easily with the use of constructive tools. The user can present their work in lovely and appealing styles. I felt it would be very useful in creating result for the large number of class sizes.

Using several useful tools, the student can articulate their own ideas. With the aid of the constructive tool, the student can modify data, create mental images, and integrate their own knowledge into the meaning. It encourages critical thinking, teamwork, and motivating learning in the kids while keeping them actively involved.

One of my teaching philosophies as a teacher also includes the incorporation of helpful tools. Construct itself refers to the creation or construction of what they learn. I would create a setting in which the students can use these resources to build their knowledge.
