Informative tools are applications that provide large amounts of information in various formats such as text, graphics, sound, or video.

In the class we learnt about searching information from different sources. It is important for the teachers to make students avail to various information through using informative tools. For instance to learn about the Panda, Why are pandas endangered? We use near pod to post our answers where by all the students can see and learn together https://app.nearpod.com/?pin=egzd4

After learning this informative tool I am very confident about how to apply this knowledge in the field. I will use various search engines to deliver lesson unlike traditional way of teaching. I will use soft copy text, convert text to audio and let them listen, provide worksheet to note down take away rather than letting them writing on the paper. I will also use various search engines like lycos.com, dogpile.com, google.com, bing.com, hotbot.com, Microsoft edge.com etc to make lesson lively.

Why informative tool is important?

ü  4. enhance critical thinking

ü  5. learn to evaluate resources on the internet

How to use in teaching and learning process?

ü  1. provide an information/reference/content for the students in the beginning or during or after the activity

ü  2. analyze, synthesize and manipulate

ü  3. construct their own knowledge and meaning
